Booking the broadcast studio
The Radio Monash Broadcast Studio is a professional-grade audio recording studio available for free to all Radio Monash members. While our Broadcast Studio is primarily used for weekly live radio shows, we do have limited availabilities for non-live bookings.
All Broadcast Studio bookings are organised through contacting the Programming Director Jesse:
One-TIME bookings:
The Radio Monash Broadcast Studio is available to book for one-time bookings, though we have limited availabilities. All bookings (including induction bookings) are organised by contacting our Programming Director via email.
All who attend the booking (with the exception of guests/interviewees) must:
Be members of Radio Monash.
Sign our Presenter’s Agreement
At least one person who attends your booking must receive a Broadcast Studio Induction. Only those who have been inducted are allowed to control the equipment. Inductions are organised by email while making your booking.
These are the times available to be booked for one-off podcast bookings:
Tuesday 1-2pm
Wednesday 12-1pm
Thursday 10-11am, 11am-12pm, 2-3pm, 4-5pm
Please note you only have a maximum of 50 minutes of recording time, as the last 10 minutes of your recording must be dedicated to exporting your audio files and allowing the next booking time to set up.
REGULAR OR SEMI-REGULAR bookings:
The Radio Monash Broadcast Studio is available to book regularly for non-live podcast recordings. All bookings (including induction bookings) are organised by contacting our Programming Director via email.

There are various times available for regular podcasts. A majority of these are in the mornings or evenings. Most evening slots are not during Recording Studio Quiet Hours, so there may be significant noise pollution from the adjacent room during these times. More details on available times will be given upon emailing our Programming Director.
